Your Arbiters Society seeks to empower Young Alternative Dispute Resolution Practitioners by advocating for, encouraging, promoting and taking part in the practice of various Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) mechanisms. The Society achieves this by promoting the research, training, practice, networking and consulting on various Alternative Dispute Resolution processes and techniques such as arbitration, mediation, traditional dispute resolution, negotiation and conciliation.

Dr. Kariuki Muigua who was the keynote speaker during the Award which were held virtually in compliance with Covid-19 protocols encouraged the young upcoming lawyers and arbitrators to dream big and avoid fear of success as they pursue the journey of success and in the quest to realize their “predetermined goals.” Dr. Muigua has been at the forefront in mentoring young lawyers and arbitrators across the country both as an ADR practitioner and trainer.

“Your keynote speech reminded us of how the fear of success is just as big as the fear of failure. You encouraged us to dream big for when our dreams are big no one can take them away. Above all, you reminded us that while we pursue success we must always remember that: Success is a journey and not a destination. Success is the progressive realization of worthwhile predetermined goals,” noted Young Arbiters Society.
